Creativity is where I turn when I need clarity, inspiration, or a new perspective. It helps me understand myself, the people around me, and the world I’m moving through. Creativity is where I return again and again.

 

I think I’m drawn to photography because there’s something so beautiful about photographing people being who they are and doing what they love. My earliest memories of photography are from elementary school. With a point & shoot in hand and film that my mom would send off in the mail to be developed, I snapped photos that I still cherish to this day.

 

Through the years I’ve noticed that I enjoy photographing almost everything, not just people. Animals, flowers, little bits of nature - everyday things that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m especially drawn to photos with blurry backgrounds, natural light, and fleeting movements and expressions. Photography allows me to be in my own little world, noticing people and things in my own time and my own special way.

​Much like photography captures moments, a website captures dreams and aspirations, making it a natural extension of creativity for me. I enjoy my own process of building websites, and through that, I’ve learned that design and development of a website, as a creative pursuit, is another way that I enjoy helping others express themselves.
